Swami Prameyananda served as a revered Vice-President of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, based at Belur Math. His gentle nature and profound devotion touched many hearts, making him a beloved figure within the Order. Before his elevation to Vice-President in 2009, he distinguished himself as a former editor of the Bengali journal Udbodhan, playing a vital role in disseminating the Holy Trio's message. He also headed the Yogodyan center, nurturing spiritual life among devotees. As a Vice-President, Swami Prameyananda dedicated himself to giving mantra-diksha and providing spiritual guidance, fulfilling a crucial role in maintaining the living link between Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother, and Swami Vivekananda with successive generations of aspirants until his Mahasamadhi in 2011.
