This is the Hindi translation of the second volume of the Pictorial Mahabharata. In the previous volume, we saw how the virtuous and righteous Pandavas were deceitfully exiled to the forest for twelve years by their wicked cousins, the Kauravas. After completing their exile, they were also required to live incognito for twelve months. This volume presents the dramatic events that unfolded during that final year. Ultimately, when the Pandavas emerged from their incognito period and demanded their kingdom back, the Kauravas refused to return even an inch of it. Sri Krishna himself attempted to mediate for peace, but returned empty-handed. A terrible war could no longer be averted. Kunti urged her eldest son, Karna, to abandon Duryodhana's side and join them, but he refused. This volume brings us to the precipice of that great catastrophe. The book is the third of five volumes.
