Saptapadarthi: A treatise on the Vaisheshika system of Indian philosophy

The Vaisheshika system of Indian philosophy is a system of Dualistic realism. In course of time, this system was blended with the Nyaya system in a single whole as one Nyaya-Vaisheshika system. The Saptapadarthi is the earliest work we have for the authority of the joint school of Nyaya and Vaisheshika and is essentially a book for beginners.This book contains an elucidation of the original sutras in Bengali based on the Sanskrit commentary ‘Mitabhashini’ of Madhav Saraswati.
